Hitachi Launches BuilMirai Experience Centre in Noida

The centre will also function as a collaborative space for engineering teams, customers, partners, and industry stakeholders

Hitachi Ltd., in collaboration with Hitachi Lift India Pvt. Ltd. and GlobalLogic Inc., has launched the BuilMirai Experience Centre at GlobalLogic’s India headquarters in Noida. The new facility will serve as an innovation and customer engagement hub for BuilMirai, Hitachi’s digital building management service based on its HMAX for Buildings solution portfolio.

The experience centre showcases how AI-powered intelligent building technologies can improve energy efficiency, sustainability, operational visibility, occupant wellbeing, and infrastructure performance through a unified building management platform. The solution combines data from installed building assets, Hitachi’s domain expertise, and advanced AI technologies to optimise building operations.

The centre will also function as a collaborative space for engineering teams, customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to support the continuous development of the BuilMirai platform. While GlobalLogic is responsible for the digital engineering of the service, Hitachi Lift India contributes its local operational expertise and elevator service capabilities. Insights gathered through the centre will be used to further enhance BuilMirai and support its global deployment.

Hitachi said the initiative comes at a time when India’s rapid urbanisation and economic growth are driving demand for energy-efficient and intelligent building solutions across commercial, office, and infrastructure projects. The company views India as a strategic hub for expanding its global building solutions business.

The launch also represents a milestone in Hitachi’s One Hitachi strategy, which integrates information technology (IT), operational technology (OT), and products to develop connected building solutions that improve operational efficiency, safety, sustainability, and occupant experience.

Speaking on the occasion, Manish Sikka, Managing Director of Hitachi Lift India, said the company aims to help customers derive greater value from their building assets through enhanced visibility, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making enabled by the unified BuilMirai platform.

Piyush Jha, Group Vice President and Head of APAC at GlobalLogic, noted that India is emerging as a hub for intelligent infrastructure innovation and said the experience centre demonstrates how GlobalLogic’s digital engineering capabilities, combined with Hitachi’s operational technology expertise, can help transform the way buildings are designed, managed, and optimised. He added that the collaboration will support solutions for commercial, residential, and urban infrastructure applications.
