February 12, 2015: LAVA International Limited has appointed Sanjeev Agarwal as the new chief manufacturing officer of the company. Sanjeev will play an important role in giving a boost to the company when it is planning to open up a manufacturing facility in India.
Hari Om Rai, Chairman & Managing Director, LAVA International said that Sanjeev is bring in a lot of experience and skills with him and it will give a boost to LAVA’s qualified management team. Sanjeev has 24 years of experience of working in operations/manufacturing sector and this will help LAVA to boost in manufacturing capability and focus would then be laid on commencing domestic manufacturing of LAVA mobile phones in India.
Sanjeev has worked with head of operations with Lite-On Mobile and as a general manager with Moser Baer. Few of his other stints include working with LG Electronics, Sony, Celetronix and Calcom Vision.
He has also been awarded with numerous honours for his stint in the manufacturing and operations business.
