Leading-edge Technologies at Samsung Mobile Solutions Forum, 2018

Samsung presented system-on-chips, IoT solutions, Near Field Communication (NFC) and Power Management IC among its components solutions

Samsung, at its 4th Mobile Solutions Forum (SMSF) held in New Delhi, presented an array of technologies and shared its vision of the Indian smartphone market. The forum was attended by more than 300 industry experts that included global mobile manufacturers, OEM (original equipment manufacturer) companies, component partners and analysts.

 

Technologies presented in the forum

Samsung shared its component solutions at SMSF 2018. It included Exynos System-on-Chips (SoC) for a wide range of product segments – Exynos 7 9610 for high-end smartphones with premium multimedia features and Exynos 7885, 7904 and 7905 for powerful performance in affordable devices.

It also showcased Exynos Modem 5100, that fully complies with the most current 5G standard and supports multi-mode communication in a single-chip design.

Internet of Things (IoT) solutions from the efficient and reliable Exynos i S111 was also in its list for narrowband applications to ARTIK end-to-end solutions.

Samsung highlighted the ISOCELL image sensors, optimized for various device requirements, Near Field Communication (NFC) and Power Management IC (PMIC) for mobile devices and accessories and LPDDR5-based mobile DRAM built on 10-nanometer (nm)-class process technology that will be powering artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning applications as well as UHD mobile devices.

The latest ISOCELL Plus delivers exceptionally bright and vivid picture qualities and ISOCELL Plug & Play solution is for easy development of pre-tuned camera modules.
