Legrand Opens its First Studio in India to Directly Interact with Clients

Legrand Studio will provide a comprehensive showcase of solutions that are designed for the commercial, residential, hospitality and industrial markets

Legrand India, a world leader in electrical and digital building infrastructure, has opened Legrand Studio in Kochi – its first retail outlet in the Asia Pacific region. This is first of its kind studio cum experiential centre that will host all the products of Legrand India Group. Apart from this, the company’s experience centres are present in nine countries.

Legrand Studio is an experiential centre cum retail outlet, which will provide a comprehensive showcase of solutions that are designed for the commercial, residential, hospitality and industrial markets. The product offerings are segregated as per business verticals and arranged as per customers’ requirement different sections such as home automation, energy distribution, user interface, cable management and structured cabling.

Fully automated experience

Legrand Studio offers the visitors a fully automated experience and an interactive display of products. The design approach of the studio is based on the Designeering concept. The studio has all the engineering technicalities but put forth in an intuitive and simple to understand communication system.

Jean Charles Thuard, CEO and Managing Director, Legrand India, said, “The breadth of Legrand’s offer has diversified over the last 20 years in India. Legrand has been able to successfully develop product solutions for various industries and its user (investors, system integrator, architects, panel builder, end customer etc.).

“We plan to launch the Legrand Studio in multiple locations across India. Through such studios, we will be able to interact with our customers directly enabling us to develop a real time communication with them and understand their purchase behavior,” he added.

Commenting on the development, Sameer Saxena, Director – Marketing (Group), Legrand India, said, “India has been a very fast-growing market for Legrand. The company has a vast offering of electrical and digital infrastructure products across several business verticals; many of which highly technical to understand. With the launch of Legrand Studio, we plan to reach out to our customer with an experiential and interactive narrative that is simple to comprehend. Through the launch of Legrand Studio, we will be able to bring customer closer to the brand and help them to choose what they are seeking.”

Legrand Studio will also serve as a training centre for all the stakeholders in electrical trade, from installers to investors. The company has been known in the industry for its innovative and value-added solutions. It also helps professionals in adapting to a continuously changing business requirement. The major purpose of the studio is to directly reach out to its customers and interact with them on day-to-day basis through the studio.
