Sam Altman’s sudden dismissal sent shockwaves through the industry.
In the recent turn of events, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced OpenAI ex-CEO Sam Altman and ex-president and co-founder Greg Brockman along with their colleagues will join Microsoft. Greg and Altman will lead the new advanced AI research team.
“We look forward to moving quickly to provide them with the resources needed for their success,” Nadella said in the social media platform X post that announced the news.
Along with being excited to work with Altman ang Greg, Nadella showed confidence in Microsoft’s partnership with OpenAI. Following their product roadmap, Microsoft will continue to innovate with everything they announced at Microsoft Ignite.
“We look forward to getting to know Emmett Shear and OAI’s new leadership team and working with them.” said Nadella in the X post.
