The Tata Ace EVs have been rolled out across key metropolitan areas such as Delhi NCR, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune, catering to various industries, including FMCG, e-commerce, and the oil and gas sector.

MoEVing has successfully deployed 100 Tata Ace EV units within 90 days, signalling the growing acceptance of electric vehicles in India’s last-mile delivery sector. This achievement underscores the importance of EVs in driving India toward a sustainable and economically strong future, aligning with the country’s goal to develop 100 smart cities.

The Tata Ace EV, a zero-emission small commercial vehicle, serves over ten different customer segments in urban freight and logistics. Vikash Mishra, Founder and CEO of MoEVing, acknowledged the swift deployment and its role in supporting a pollution-free logistics industry in accordance with national objectives to reduce logistics costs by up to 4% of GDP and cut CO2 emissions by ten gigatonnes by 2030. He thanked Tata Motors, StrideOne, and Gensol EV Lease for their assistance.

Vinay Pathak, Vice President & Business Head – SCVPU at Tata Motors, commended the joint effort with MoEVing to enhance zero-emission cargo transport across India. He celebrated the milestone of 100 Tata Ace EV units deployed and reiterated the partnership’s dedication to promoting zero-emission e-cargo mobility solutions for a cleaner and safer environment.

Since its inception in 2021, MoEVing has quickly advanced its goal of an entirely electric delivery fleet, with over 2000 electric vehicles in operation and 30 charging hubs in place. The Memorandum of Understanding with Tata Motors for the deployment of 5000 Tata Ace EVs by 2025 reflects the scalable dedication of both entities, with extensive vehicle trials being crucial for the commercial launch.
