Mouser Electronics Signs Global Distribution Agreement with MYIR Tech

Mouser Electronics will become the global distributor of MYIR product line that includes system-on-modules, Arm-based development boards and single-board computers

Mouser Electronics, the authorised global distributor of a wide range of semiconductors and electronic components, announced that it has signed a global distribution agreement with MYIR Tech, a global provider of development boards, CPU modules, single-board computers and design solutions for ARM embedded applications.

As per the agreement, MYIR’s products can be available to customers all over the world through Mouser’s best-in-class service, easy payment options and quick delivery.

Mouser Electronics will become the global distributor of MYIR product line that includes system-on-modules (SoMs), Arm-based development boards and single-board computers (SBCs) that are ideal for industrial control, automation, medical instruments, communications, Internet of Things (IoT) and other embedded applications.

Features and specifications of products

The MYC-AM335X SoM incoporates a Texas Instruments (TI) Sitara AM335x Arm Cortex®-A8 processor, along with a PowerVR SGX530 for 3D and 2D graphics acceleration and PRU/ICSS support for real-time protocols, like PROFINET and EtherCAT.

The MCC-AM335X-Y and MCC-AM335X-J modules also integrates a Sitara AM335x processor. In addition, it includes a TI TPS65217C power management IC (PMIC) and utilise a DDR2 SO-DIMM 200-pin gold finger expansion interface or 1.27-mm pitch, 146-pin stamp hole expansion interface.

The MYC-C437X module is a low-cost, compact SoM-based on a processor of 1 GHz TI Sitara AM437x Arm Cortex-A9 with 512 MB of DDR3 SDRAM and 4 GB of eMMC flash. The MYC-C437X provides 3D graphics acceleration for exceptional graphical user interfaces, PRU-ICSS for industrial protocols, support for two parallel cameras and two independent eight-channel analog-to-digital converters (ADCs).

The 37 mm × 39 mm shielded MYC-Y6ULX SoMs are incorporated with a 528 MHz NXP i.MX 6UL or i.MX 6ULL processor that is based on Arm Cortex-A7 architecture, to provide high performance with ultra-efficient power for robust embedded applications. These modules can support industrial operating temperature of minus 40 to 85 degrees C and are ready to run Linux.
