MSI is dedicated to making its products more accessible in India by expanding their presence

MSI, the well-known Taiwanese laptop manufacturer, announced the launch of its manufacturing operations in India, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to the “Make in India” initiative. The company has established its first manufacturing facility in Chennai, reflecting its focus on leveraging India’s robust manufacturing ecosystem.

As part of this development, MSI will produce two laptop models locally—the MSI Modern 14 and the MSI Thin 15. This move aligns with India’s broader push towards domestic production and reduced dependency on imports for high-tech goods. This strategic initiative is expected to bolster MSI’s presence in the Indian market, cater to growing demand, and potentially reduce costs for consumers by minimizing import duties and associated logistics expenses.

According to the company, MSI is rapidly establishing itself as a leader in India, one of its fastest-growing markets. With a commitment to innovation and quality, MSI is strategically expanding its reach across the nation. As the demand for high-performance laptops soars, MSI is thrilled to enhance India’s dynamic tech landscape by providing locally manufactured products that adhere to the highest global standards.

The introduction of the India-made Thin and Modern series laptops by MSI at competitive retail prices—Rs 73,990 and Rs 52,990, respectively. MSI is dedicated to making its products more accessible in India by expanding their presence with additional laptop brand stores and increasing availability at popular retail locations like Croma and Reliance Retail. MSI’s plan to introduce more powerful configurations of the Thin series to cater to the diverse needs of Indian users is a forward-thinking strategy. This move aligns with evolving consumer preferences and highlights MSI’s commitment to innovation and responsiveness.
