As new facility prepares to start operations, global supply chains can expect boost in efficiency and production, in turn supporting other industries.
VVDN Technologies, a provider of software, product engineering, and electronics manufacturing services, has announced plans to establish a new production facility in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The facility, due to be operational within four weeks, is intended to serve customers in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Production will include electronics for multiple sectors, especially telecom, medical technology, automotive, cameras, and industrial automation. According to the company, it will include printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, automated product assembly, mechanical manufacturing, and testing and validation as part of its backward integration strategy.
The company said the new site is expected to reduce lead times and support cost efficiency while maintaining compliance and quality standards. The facility adds to VVDN’s existing operations in India, North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific. The move forms part of the company’s global expansion strategy, which aims to strengthen its role in electronics design and manufacturing.
Gourab Basu, Senior Vice-President, Manufacturing Commercials at VVDN Technologies, said:
“VVDN’s new manufacturing facility in the UAE is a major milestone in our journey. The UAE presents a highly attractive environment for manufacturing, thanks to its strategic location, advanced infrastructure, and growing local market. Positioned as a gateway between East and West, the UAE enables seamless access to diverse markets. This expansion reflects VVDN’s dedication to bringing manufacturing closer to its global clientele while meeting the increasing demand for high-quality, commercially competitive solutions with a quick turnaround.”
