Electric-scooter manufacturer Okinawa announced the discontinuation of its lead-acid product portfolio. It said in a statement that it will be focusing only on lithium-ion versions.
It had started with lead-acid scooter Okinawa Ridge and launched four lead-acid scooters in three years. Then it introduced the lithium-ion detachable battery-equipped e-scooter versions.
