  • Purchase window of OLA S1 Air starts from July 28th at an introductory price of ₹1,09,999
  • Ola claims a range of 125km in a single charge from a 3kWh battery pack

In October last year, Ola Electric unveiled its latest addition to the lineup, the S1 Air electric scooter, which will finally be available for sale from 28th July, 2023, at an introductory price of Rs 1,09,999. The introductory prices will be valid until July 30.

Starting July 31, the base-variant of Ola’s electric scooter will be priced at Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom), while deliveries for the S1 Air are scheduled to begin in early August. Bhavish Aggarwal has confirmed this development through his Twitter handle.

Ola’s S1 Air electric scooter is equipped with an electric motor, drawing power from a 3kWh battery pack, ensuring a range of 125 km on a single charge. The scooter utilizes a hub-mounted motor, known as the Ola Hyperdrive Motor, delivering a peak output of 6 bhp. With three ride modes – Eco, Normal, and Sports – the electric scooter offers versatility for various riding preferences. Ola claims that in Sports mode, it can reach a top speed of 90 kmph.

The Ola S1 Air features distinctive foundations, setting it apart from its premium counterparts. While sharing the same tubular frame, it adopts conventional twin forks at the front and twin rear shock absorbers for a comfortable ride. The scooter features drum brakes at both ends, along with CBS (Combined Braking System).

As for its features, the Ola S1 Air is equipped with all-LED illumination, a 7-inch digital instrument console, side stand alert, reverse mode, and remote boot unlock. Moreover, it offers OTA updates, smartphone connectivity, and GPS navigation for a connected riding experience. The boot space is slightly smaller at 34 liters compared to the 36 liters in the S1 and S1 Pro.
