Bhavsar, Tembey, and co-founder Ashley Roof are engaging with Indian industry leaders in Bengaluru, Pune, and Ahmedabad as they establish Operant’s market presence in India.

Operant AI, a Silicon Valley-based cybersecurity leader, has launched in India, introducing its 3D Runtime Defense Platform to protect AI applications from critical threats. With India’s AI adoption accelerating across fintech, healthcare, and enterprise software, securing these systems against cyberattacks is essential.
Founded by Indian engineers Vrajesh Bhavsar and Dr. Priyanka Tembey, Operant AI specializes in real-time AI security, blocking prompt injections, rogue agents, data poisoning, and exfiltration attacks. Traditional cybersecurity tools fall short against AI-specific threats, making dynamic, real-time protection crucial for enterprises leveraging AI and cloud technologies.
“AI security is now more urgent than ever—not just to protect businesses, but also to safeguard customers from cyber threats,” said Bhavsar, Operant’s CEO. “Our platform doesn’t just detect threats; it actively protects sensitive data, automatically redacting private information before it leaves a company’s environment.”
As AI-powered applications scale, privacy concerns around third-party AI APIs and containerized models have slowed adoption. Operant’s in-line auto-redaction technology ensures compliance, enabling sectors like BFSI and fintech to harness AI securely.
“With AI running on Kubernetes, security must be built in from infrastructure to AI APIs,” noted Sarah Novotny, a founding member of Kubernetes and board member of the Coalition for Secure AI (CosAI). “Operant’s real-time protection ensures developers can scale AI securely without trade-offs.”
Unlike traditional runtime security tools that generate excessive, unactionable alerts, Operant’s platform actively blocks modern attacks within live AI environments. It seamlessly secures AI-powered APIs, containerized models, and third-party integrations, providing a robust security layer for enterprises.
