Indian IT service provider Orient Technologies Ltd has recently announced a collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) India to deliver advanced GPU and AI services.
According to Orient, this partnership will enable the company to leverage AWS’s specialised GPU chips, AI capabilities, and expansive ecosystem to drive AI innovation in India as a part of its focus on empowering businesses to realise the full potential of AI.
AWS’s GPU chips offer several advantages, including over 50 per cent reduced costs and lower training expenses compared to traditional solutions. This cost-effectiveness is crucial for expanding participation in the IndiaAI initiative, enabling faster development of AI technologies. Additionally, AWS GPUs provide 25 per cent greater energy efficiency.
