The Bengaluru-based electronics company appointed its new Chief Operating Officer last week.

C R Nagendra has started a new position as the Chief Operating Officer at Unified GlobalTech. As such, he will handle daily operations, manufacturing, supply chain, quality control, and logistics.

He will also lead strategic planning, business development, and profitability initiatives and ensure inter-departmental coordination to drive company growth.

The company’s product range includes Active and Passive components like RF, Electromechanical, Passive, Power Modules, Interconnect, and Wireless Products.

During his tenure, he served as an advisor to the board, guiding business forecasts, budgeting, and annual operational planning. He also started an initiative for Passive components, targeting EV sectors.

Nagendra worked with Defence PSUs, DRDOs, and SPACE customers at Unified Global. During his time, month-on-month growth of 15%- 20% increased annual business from USD 24 million in 2019 to USD 46 million in FY22-23, with the management of challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

He briefly shifted to RP Tech India in November 2023 as a General Manager before joining Unified GlobalTech.

Unified primarily focuses on IoT, Automotive, Industrial, Energy, Railways, and Military markets. As an independent company, its consulting services encompass technical, commercial, and logistical aspects, ensuring quality service for customers.
The company’s sales and marketing team provides technical and commercial assistance throughout the development cycle, from concept and design to prototyping and mass production.

Unified also regularly conducts seminars, workshops, webinars, and roadshows to enable global players in the electronic ecosystem to market their products effectively in India.
An alumnus of Bangalore University, Nagendra has over thirty years of experience in electronic products and services, specialising in sales, marketing, and business operations of semiconductor, passive, interconnect, electromechanical (IP&E), RF, and board/system-level products.

Affirming his new position, C R Nagendra likes to describe himself as “well-regarded in industry circles, with extensive experience in engaging with Government Bodies and Defence, an analytical thinker, persuasive negotiator, and effective relationship manager.”
