Eyeing to drive growth and partnerships in India, Elektronika Sales appoints industry veteran Parag Kulkarni as the National Business Development Head.
Elektronika Sales Private Limited has appointed Parag Kulkarni as its National Business Development Manager, strengthening its leadership team as it targets growth across India’s electronics market.
Mr Kulkarni took up the role in February 2026. He joins the distributor at a time of rising demand for semiconductors in automotive, industrial, telecoms and embedded systems. The company said his appointment will support deeper engagement with customers and partners nationwide.
He brings more than three decades of experience in the semiconductor industry. His career spans business development, key accounts and strategic partnerships. Elektronika Sales said he will focus on expanding market reach, building alliances and driving demand creation across priority sectors.
Before joining Elektronika Sales, Mr Kulkarni served as Principal for Technology Investments at Next Orbit Ventures Fund in Pune. There, he led investments in high-growth technology firms, with a focus on semiconductors and embedded systems. He oversaw technical and commercial due diligence. He also mentored portfolio companies on growth strategy and market entry.
Earlier, he spent 18 years at Microchip Technology Designs India. He most recently led nationwide Edge Computing and Internet of Things (IoT) initiatives. The company credits him with driving strong revenue growth in key regions.
Mr Kulkarni previously held senior roles at WPG Electronics India and Silicon Micro Systems. His career has centred on scaling technology businesses and building long-term customer relationships.
Elektronika Sales said the hire reflects its ambition to expand in fast-growing electronics segments. The distributor aims to strengthen partnerships with global suppliers. It also plans to deepen support for Indian manufacturers and design teams.
