With soaring AI ambitions, NTT Com Asia elevates Steven So CTO, tasking him to lead its next phase of smart, connected innovation in Asia.
NTT Com Asia has appointed Steven So as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in Hong Kong, as the company sharpens its focus on AI-powered infrastructure and digital innovation across the region.
In his new role, So will lead NTT Com Asia’s digital portfolio, oversee the development of smart infrastructure, and accelerate the deployment of technologies such as AI, private 5G, and IoT solutions.
“I am privileged to take on this new role,” said Mr So. “As the AI Enabler, our mission is to continuously expand the boundaries of digital innovation and fully realise the potential of AI.”
NTT Com Asia recently launched a suite of AI-led initiatives, including its AI-Driven Data Centre, private 5G wireless connectivity, and the OCEAN Intelligence™ platform, a smart building system designed to integrate data, operations, and AI insights.
“With this launch, NTT Com Asia has laid a robust foundation for an AI journey; one that spans AI applications, smart infrastructure and operations, and positions us to accelerate the advancement of a smarter, more connected future,” So added.
Being with NTT Com for 17 years, previously, So led the company’s data centre division, where he drove operational transformation through smart automation and AI integration.
