TPV Tech Appoints New Country Head In India

  • Mr Atul Jasra is with the company since 2014; has served the brand as its business head
  • With over 25 years of experience in the consumer electronics sector, he will work to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base in India

Hong Kong-based monitor and LCD TV manufacturer, TPV Technology recently announced the elevation of Mr Atul Jasra as the new country head in India. Till the announcement, Mr Jasra served the brand as its business head and spearheaded the business and sales for AOC Monitors, Smart Phones, Tablets & LED TVs for India & SAARC.

As per the company, Mr Jasra will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base in India. Moreover, Mr Jasra will also nurture relationships with the retailer partners and distributor management while aligning with them on business development for owning and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets.

The newly-appointed country head remarked, “After working with TPV for almost a decade, I feel privileged to be appointed as the country head for such an accomplished company with its rich legacy, strong brand and quality product portfolio. I have been actively engaged in growing and sustaining the monitors, LED TVs and smartphone categories and am now really excited to spur the growth of the entire business. TPV is all about innovation and perfection and I look forward to working with the team with utmost commitment & dedication to achieve exponential growth in the coming years.”

Notably, Mr Jasra did a Masters in Business Management and joined AOC in 2014. He was responsible for establishing the tablet and smartphone business vertical for AOC.

Mr Jasra has over 25 years of experience in the consumer electronics sector. TPV stated that the veteran has proven his ability to lead an effective sales team and is familiar with all aspects of business management. It further said that he is adept at forecasting & planning promotions and has a history of increasing sales and profitability.

The official note pointed out that he was instrumental in launching and establishing HCL ME tablets in India. Further, he has also been part of some of the other successful launches in the country including Casio Watches & Digital Cameras and INQ Mobile in the past and has a proven track record of delivering stellar returns.

Hong Kong-based key player in the consumer electronics industry, TPV is a leading manufacturer of monitor and LCD TV worldwide. The 1990-born company concentrates on developing, manufacturing and marketing Philips branded TV sets and audio products by means of an exclusive brand license agreement with Philips.
