POWERCON Group has appointed Ravindra Chauhan as Senior Management Officer – Business Development as the renewable energy company expands its presence across India.
Chauhan brings 22 years of experience in wind energy and engineering, with expertise spanning business development, customer engagement, engineering services, and operations and maintenance. He has previously held senior positions at Suzlon, Senvion, and InoxWind, where he was involved in business growth and large-scale renewable energy portfolios.
In his new role, Chauhan will work with POWERCON’s leadership team to strengthen customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and expand the company’s market presence.

According to POWERCON Chief Growth & Resolution Officer Manoj Sonawane, Chauhan’s experience and understanding of the renewable energy sector will support the company’s growth plans.
POWERCON is currently executing full turnkey wind projects in Maharashtra and Karnataka. The company is handling projects across the lifecycle, from concept development and feasibility studies to design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
The move marks POWERCON’s broader shift from project development towards end-to-end construction and operation of renewable energy assets
