In her new role, Dei Cas will lead Qnity Electronics’ Semiconductor Technologies business
Qnity Electronics has appointed Katherine (Kate) Dei Cas as President of its Semiconductor Technologies business segment, effective August 3.
She succeeds Sam Ponzo, who has been serving as Interim President of the Semiconductor Technologies segment. Ponzo will transition back to his role as Chief Commercial & Strategy Officer following Dei Cas’s appointment.
Dei Cas brings more than 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. She joins Qnity from EMD Electronics, the electronics business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, where she most recently served as Executive Vice President and a member of the company’s Executive Team.

In her new role, Dei Cas will lead Qnity Electronics’ Semiconductor Technologies business, drawing on her extensive leadership experience in the global semiconductor sector to support the company’s strategic growth initiatives.
