SCH Technologies, a leading company providing unique and complete global coating solutions for conformal coatings, parylene, fluoropolymers, and other thin film technologies is aiming four acquisitions in this fiscal year.
Talking about the business model in India, Dr. Lee Hitchens, Technical Director, SCH Technologies said, “We have noticed that the level of technology has improved. The knowledge level here in India has improved. The expanding business in optoelectronics, mobile phones in India is the proof of India’s growing scalability”.
He further mentioned, “India having nearly 1.3 billion population is selling products internally. That is indeed a huge market Keeping the growing Indian market in mind, we keep around 5 percent for the India business”.
Having offices in Hyderabad and a manufacturing unit in Mumbai SCH is looking to set up a coating service centre in Hyderabad for coating some very specific films for optoelectronics.
The company aims to start off with this new unit within the next couple of months. “As of for now we do not have any acquisition plans for India but globally (USA), yes we do have such plans in mind. We are looking forward to four such acquisitions plans, two of which is expected to be completed by the end of October ‘17. Among the two one is a $15 million company while another one is of $10 million”, said Hitchens.
