Servotech Lands ₹102 Million Solar Storage Order In UP

Aiming for sustainable power solutions, Servotech Power obtained an order of 1.2 MW solar installation worth ₹102 million from UPNEDA and the rural development body of Uttar Pradesh.

On Wednesday, solar modules and EV charger producer Servotech Power Systems Ltd announced that it has secured a 1.2 MW order valued at around ₹102 million for installing solar energy storage and grid-connected systems. The Rural Development Department of Uttar Pradesh and the Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) placed this order.

The deal would involve Servotech installing several 75kW solar energy storage systems to ensure a reliable and continuous power supply throughout UP. The company will also design, manufacture, supply, install, test, and commission 20 kW and 40 kW grid-connected solar power systems, supporting the state’s renewable energy objectives.

As the firm claims, this initiative will be crucial in addressing Uttar Pradesh’s geographical and infrastructural challenges, expanding the availability of sustainable energy solutions, and enhancing renewable energy integration into the grid. Furthermore, the pact aims to boost energy stability, aligning with the government’s sustainability goals and benefiting the public by lowering costs and reducing carbon footprints.

Commenting on the matter, Sarika Bhatia, Director of Servotech, noted, “This order is a very welcoming addition to our existing green portfolio, as we cultivate a company that considers future needs and requirements using advanced technologies.”
