Servotech has entered an exclusive partnership with China’s Piwin to manufacture battery energy storage systems locally under a technology support agreement.
Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd. has signed an exclusive strategic partnership with Zhuhai Piwin New Energy Co., China, to manufacture advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in India.
The partnership focuses on technology support and domestic production, and aims to deliver scalable, India-specific energy storage solutions that meet the needs of the expanding renewable power sector.
The collaboration creates an opportunity to access locally assembled BESS units supported by global design expertise. By bringing Piwin’s BESS technology and system-level expertise, while Servotech will lead local manufacturing and deployment.
BESS is critical for integrating intermittent solar and wind energy into the grid and ensuring energy availability beyond generation hours. With domestic production, the sourcing cycle for such systems is expected to shorten, making distribution and deployment more efficient across industrial and infrastructure sectors.

Servotech will lead local assembly, compliance, and system integration, while Piwin provides technical inputs. The partnership also positions Servotech to serve emerging segments like green hydrogen and EV charging, which require energy storage to ensure round-the-clock reliability.
