The deeptech startup expands capacity to produce over one million vehicle electronics units annually for global automakers.
Indian deeptech startup Six Sense Mobility has invested approximately $1.8 million (₹15 crore) to establish a new manufacturing facility in Noida dedicated to connected vehicle electronics, including vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication systems, radar, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
The 40,000-square-foot plant features an integrated electronics manufacturing and assembly line capable of producing more than one million units per year. By bringing hardware development, firmware, software integration, and physical production under one roof, the company aims to maintain tight control over product quality, customisation, and delivery schedules as vehicle manufacturers transition toward software-defined architectures.
Sumit Roy, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Six Sense Mobility, stated that the facility provides the operational scale required to move advanced technologies like V2X from research laboratories into mass-production vehicles, while supporting larger commercial programmes.
Backed by IIT Delhi alongside investors Piper Serica and Ashish Kacholia, the Noida-headquartered company develops automotive components certified for international standards. With its devices currently deployed across India and Europe, Six Sense Mobility is targeting expansion across North America and Southeast Asia. To support its growth plans, the firm intends to triple its workforce over the next two years, creating roughly 300 engineering and manufacturing jobs.
