The latest Grok model targets coding and agentic AI tasks, intensifying competition in the fast-growing enterprise AI tools market.
SpaceXAI has unveiled Grok 4.5, its latest artificial intelligence model, positioning it as the company’s most advanced offering for coding and agentic tasks as competition in enterprise AI continues to intensify.
According to Reuters, Grok 4.5 has been trained on tens of thousands of Nvidia GB300 graphics processing units and incorporates enhanced data filtering, deduplication and quality scoring to improve coding performance.
“We’ve partnered with SpaceXAI to train Grok 4.5,” AI coding platform Cursor said, after announcing its integration with the new model.
The model is available through Grok Build, Cursor and the SpaceXAI developer portal using an API key. SpaceXAI said European Union availability is expected later this month.
Chief Executive Elon Musk described Grok 4.5 as “an Opus-class model, but faster, more token-efficient and lower cost.”
Reuters reported that input pricing is set at $2 per million tokens, while output tokens cost $6 per million. By comparison, Anthropic’s Claude Opus 4.8 is priced at $5 per million input tokens and $25 per million output tokens, while OpenAI’s GPT-5.6 Luna charges $1 per million input tokens and $6 per million output tokens.
The launch follows SpaceXAI‘s acquisition of AI coding startup Anysphere in an all-stock deal valued at $60 billion, strengthening its presence in the rapidly expanding enterprise AI software market.
