As the industry demand rises, Syrma SGS has opened a massive electronics manufacturing facility in Pune, boosting PCB assembly capabilities and further job creation.

Syrma SGS Technology Limited, a domestic electronics systems design and manufacturing company, has inaugurated an integrated electronics manufacturing facility in Ranjangaon, near Pune.

The new campus, which spans 26.5 acres, will feature a manufacturing area of 1.20 million square feet at full capacity. This facility aims to enhance the company’s capabilities in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly, addressing the rising domestic demand for PCBA, particularly in the automotive and industrial sectors.

Moreover, the facility’s initial phase, covering over 60,000 square feet, is expected to generate around 1,000 direct jobs. It is set to complement existing manufacturing operations, improving efficiency and Syrma SGS’s global competitiveness in the ESDM sector.

The facility was officially opened by key customers along with Mr. Sandeep Tandon, Executive Chairman of Syrma SGS. He noted, “SGS is committed to driving industry advancements through innovative solutions. Our dedication to excellence ensures sustainable growth and sets new benchmarks in the field.”

Mr J S Gujral, the company’s managing director, further added that the company aims to meet evolving market demands through this expansion, aligning with the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

“This new Pune campus is our first multi-facility campus with the capability to serve customers in multiple sectors and at global scale”, said Satendra Singh, CEO, of Syrma SGS.

Syrma SGS offers a variety of solutions to meet the manufacturing needs of Indian and global OEMs. Their services include product design, rapid prototyping, PCB assembly, box builds, customised solutions like RFID tags, high-frequency magnetic components, and testing services, providing comprehensive support throughout the product lifecycle.
