The NH-48 Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway is one of the busiest intercity corridors in the country. Tata Power has added first fast charging EV station on Highway, aiming to make long-distance EV travel more seamless, efficient, and reliable.
The station is part of Tata Power’s EZ Charge network and supports fast-charging standards and ensures compatibility across a wide range of electric vehicles.
Company estimates a charging time of 15–30 minutes for 20% -80% charge, thus giving a quicker turnaround time for both personal and commercial EV users.
Primarily, this charger is aimed to enhance connectivity for EV users travelling between Mumbai and Ahmedabad and reduce range anxiety among the owners.
To locate this charger, users can visit Tata Power EZ Charge App and can perform various activities such as checking charger availability or doing payments.
