Tata Technologies Enhances Efficiency with SAP Implementation

Tata Technologies, a digital services company, deploys SAP S/4 HANA for Mitsubishi Electric India Pvt. Ltd., marking a significant milestone in Mitsubishi Electric India’s journey towards digital excellence. 

The successful S/4 HANA deployment streamlines core processes, enhancing operational efficiency by 15%, data visibility, and agility. It provides a unified data source for better decision-making based on real-time information. Tata Technologies commits to delivering annual maintenance services (AMS) for three years to ensure continued excellence.

Mitsubishi Electric India approaches Tata Technologies to streamline and unify its business processes. Known for its manufacturing domain expertise, Tata Technologies reimagines and integrates business operations by deploying SAP S/4 HANA, achieving a 15% enhancement in operational efficiency.

With the wide-ranging expansion of multiple business units, Mitsubishi Electric India migrates from the existing SAP ECC system to the advanced S/4 Hana cloud services, seamlessly integrating all business functions. The project also incorporates digital signatures and configures document management system servers, completed within a stringent time frame, including mapping entire business processes across their units.

Leveraging its global footprint and diverse team of experts, Tata Technologies facilitates a seamless SAP S/4 HANA implementation for Mitsubishi Electric India within an 11-month timeline, reducing the original schedule by 25%. 

This involves using Tata Technologies’ cross-functional teams for business process rationalisation and digital accelerators, such as pre-configured templates for the manufacturing industry, a pre-built authorization matrix, EDI solutions, an SAP MES integration connector, a data migration and validation tool, and reusable automation test scripts. 

The project integrates multiple business units, including Factory Automation Systems, Air Conditioning Systems, and Semiconductors and devices. It aligns with the recent operational commencement of the Factory Automation and Industrial Division’s new manufacturing facility in Talegaon, Pune.
