IT services major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has partnered with chipmaker Qualcomm to launch of a 5G Innovation Hub in Hyderabad. TCS said that the new hub will be used to build domain-specific solutions that use the power of AI, IoT and 5G technologies to help global enterprises across industries accelerate their digital transformation journeys.
Rajen Vagadia, Vice President, Qualcomm India Private Limited and President, Qualcomm India and SAARC said that artificial Intelligence along with 5G has the power to transform the world. He also added that the collaboration with TCS will help to explore new and innovative use cases of 5G technologies and AI relevant to India and enterprises across the globe.

TCS also said that the hub will use the company’s expertise in digital technologies with Qualcomm Technologies’ depth in 5G, edge AI and edge devices to build solutions to new use-cases. The hub will look into possibilities opened up by 5G in different industries like healthcare, automotive, manufacturing, retail and utilities. The two companies will develop solutions to help customers build new business models and generate new revenue streams.
