Tech Mahindra, Cisco Partners To Deliver NGFW Solutions

Tech Mahindra collaborates with Cisco to deliver NGFW modernisation solutions with advanced features like unified policy management, Talos threat intelligence, and comprehensive malware defense. 

Tech Mahindra, a global provider of technology consulting and digital solutions, expands its partnership with Cisco to deliver next-generation firewall (NGFW) modernization solutions for their shared global customers. This collaboration enhances Tech Mahindra’s security portfolio, amplifies market research, and offers upskilling opportunities for its workforce. Analysts reports that the global average cost  of a data breach was at $4.35 million in 2023.

The partnership introduces advanced features such as unified policy management, Talos threat intelligence integration, and comprehensive malware defense across network and endpoints. The NGFW, adaptable to  evolving network and security needs, is available in diverse deployment formats, including hardware, software, and virtual options.

Additionally, in this partnership, Tech Mahindra’s vast network and security engineering consultancy resources plays an important role, supported by a strong team operating across global markets like America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific in developing and implementing services that build and maintain agile, secure, collaborative, and hybrid networks.

Analysts reports that the global average cost  of a data breach was at $4.35 million in 2023. Cisco’s Secure Firewall, a next-generation firewall, plays a crucial role in network security, providing extensive visibility and robust protection against various threats such as malware, known and unknown exploits, and web-based attacks across applications, devices, users, and multi-cloud networks.

Kunal Purohit, Chief Digital Services Officer at Tech Mahindra, emphasizes on the necessity for enterprises to have a flexible approach for scaling quickly while updating their network security. He also highlights the laborious, intricate, and costly firewall to deploy and manage. This partnership will offer a distinctive, strong, efficient, and affordable solution for modernizing firewalls.
