Tech Mahindra, a provider of technology consulting and digital solutions, has unveiled an advanced manufacturing experience centre at its campus in Sholinganallur, Chennai.
Aiming to help manufacturers rapidly prototype and scale AI-driven solutions, the centre plans to tackle key industry challenges such as high operational costs, process inefficiencies, supply chain disruptions, and complex operational issues.
According to the company, it will serve as a platform for customers to visualise, test, and validate these solutions in a low-risk environment, helping to speed up development cycles, evaluate return on investment, and improve operations before broader implementation.
The centre will host six hubs focused on different industries, including automotive, aerospace, and smart factory services. These hubs will offer interactive demonstrations of digital shift, Additionally, the centre will support the development of proofs of concept (PoCs) and provide an immersive experience with Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT, AI/ML, robotics, AR/VR, digital twins, and smart factory systems.
It will also enable customers to explore automation tools, predictive maintenance systems, and real-time analytics platforms.
The centre was recently inaugurated by Anand Mahindra, Chairman of the Mahindra Group, and Mohit Joshi, CEO and Managing Director of Tech Mahindra.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Joshi commented, “The launch of the Manufacturing Experience Center is a significant milestone in our efforts to assist customers in achieving smart, sustainable manufacturing solutions. By showcasing cutting-edge technologies, the centre will help manufacturers enhance operational resilience and swiftly adapt to future demands.”
