Technido has launched a 5 axis industrial robotic arm trainer for educational institutions and training centres in February 2011.
Features and USP: The machine is a great learning tool for both electronics and mechanical engineering students, as well as industrial trainee engineers. It comes with an advanced control equipment governed by an 8-bit RISC microcontroller. It can also be interfaced by an external microcontroller ranging from 8-bit to 32-bit ARM controller as well as PLC. It also follows users’ instructions from the PC, running a very simple-to-use software through USB port.
The arm trainer is good for study of stepper motors, DC motors, servo motors and feedback control systems. It weighs around 8 kg and has an operating voltage of 12 V. It is priced at Rs 160,000 and a dealer can get a discount of 25 per cent.
