BGAUSS, the manufacturer of electric two-wheelers, has unveiled its new electric scooter, the C12i, in the Indian marketplace. Available in two editions, EX at Rs 99,999 with a special introductory offer valid until September 19, and MAX at Rs 1,26,153, excluding showroom expenses.
BGAUSS emphasizes that this innovative scooter was designed and produced exclusively at their Chakan facility. The electric scooter is equipped with a detachable lithium-ion LFP battery pack that can be fully charged in a span of three hours. While it boasts an ARAI-certified range of 85 km, the actual distance it can cover in real-world conditions might be slightly lower. Both the electric motor and the battery pack carry an IP67 rating, indicating their resistance to water and dust. Furthermore, it features a 2500-WATT motor housed within the rear wheel.
Hemant Kabra, the founder and CEO of BGAUSS, expressed his dedication towards leading the electric vehicle movement in India with the firm’s commitment to offering safe, smart, and high-performing electric scooters. He highlighted that the launch of the fully Indian-made C12iEX is a testament to their commitment to superior quality and safety standards in their products. Kabra also acknowledged the positive reception of their previous model, the C12i MAX, and expressed optimism that the new C12i EX will be well-received by customers, as it aligns with their efforts to promote green and sustainable transportation solutions.
Customers have the option to reserve the newest BGAUSS C12i EX electric scooter directly through the official website. The producer is providing a warranty period of 5 years for the C12i EX. At present, they operate through a network of 125 dealerships spread throughout India.
