Ultraviolette Automotive has unveiled the latest version of its F99 electric factory racing platform, previously showcased at the Indian Auto Expo. The update introduces several modifications, such as a liquid-cooled powertrain, active aerodynamics, and additional enhancements.
The F99 platform, developed over two years, attributes its maximized top speed to advanced aerodynamics. Front air intakes funnel air to create a streamlined flow over the rider at high velocities, while carbon-fibre winglets with a 30-degree range of motion engage during turns to minimize drag.
The F99, with its peak power of 90kW and a weight of 178kg, boasts impressive performance statistics, accelerating from 0 to 100kph in a claimed 3 seconds and reaching a top speed of 265kph—on par with certain 600cc Japanese supersport motorcycles. Although the battery maintains air cooling, the motor and controller are liquid-cooled. A global launch is anticipated in 2025.
Structurally, the F99 utilizes a distinct frame from the F77 to support its heightened performance, equipped with premium components such as Ohlins suspension and Brembo monobloc callipers. It features a 400-volt battery system, a significant leap from the F77’s 60-volt design, and includes a meticulously engineered underbraced milled swingarm. Enhanced wiring harnesses and safety measures have been implemented to accommodate the higher voltage.
The European F77 maintains the same 10.3kWh battery pack as its Indian counterpart, suggesting similar range capabilities. The price of the F77 is expected to range from 9,000 to 11,000 Euros, varying with regional incentives and taxes. Ultraviolette will open registrations on its website starting November 15.
