Accelerating next generation mobility development, Vayavya Labs partners with SimDaaS to boost ADAS and autonomous vehicle testing.
Vayavya Labs has signed a memorandum of understanding with IIT Kanpur–incubated startup SimDaaS Autonomy Private Limited to jointly advance autonomous driving and ADAS technologies, the company announced. The collaboration will focus on AI-powered simulation platforms, virtual validation, and advanced testing solutions for next-generation automotive mobility, with an emphasis on complex traffic environments like India.
The partnership leverages SimDaaS’s expertise in AI-driven scenario generation and sensor simulation, combined with Vayavya Labs’ capabilities in digital twins, virtual ECUs, and coverage-driven verification frameworks. Together, the companies aim to accelerate virtual testing and validation, enabling safer and faster deployment of autonomous and ADAS technologies in both domestic and international markets.
Deepak Samaga, Vice President of Business Development at Vayavya Labs, said the MoU “allows us to combine our strengths in engineering, digital twins, and AI-led simulation to deliver end-to-end validation solutions designed for real-world mobility challenges, especially in emerging markets like India.”
Dr Bharat Lohani, Founder of SimDaaS, highlighted that the startup’s technology captures nuances of traffic patterns, particularly Indian traffic, to train and test autonomous vehicles and ADAS functions. “With Vayavya Labs’ global experience, we are excited to further develop and deploy our simulation platform to serve both Indian and international markets,” he added.
This collaboration is expected to strengthen India’s deep-tech automotive ecosystem by integrating advanced simulation, AI, and automation into a unified development pipeline. The partnership aims to set new benchmarks in simulation-led engineering and position India as a hub for innovation in next-generation mobility technologies.
