Wednesday, August 14, 2013: Recognising the contribution of its outstanding distributors, Vishay Intertechnology India declared the Distributor Awards for 2012. The winners were announced in a ceremony hosted by the company at the Sheraton Bangalore Hotel recently. The winners of this year’s awards included Elektronika Sales Pvt. Ltd., WPG Electronics, Arrow Electronics, Inc., and Future Electronics.
Vishay Components India has been honouring the extraordinary contributions of its distributors with these awards annually. The Distributor Awards of the company are presented in five categories including Distributor of the Year, Highest Revenue, Fastest Growing Distributor, Highest NBOs (new business opportunities), and Excellence in Key Customer Alignment.
For the best contributions made last year, Elektronika Sales was named as the Distributor of the Year. The basis of the award was the overall sales record, business development, and volume deals by this distributor. The company also received the award for the highest revenue. The Fastest Growing Distributor Award went to WPG Electronics with the largest business gain during the previous year. Arrow Electronics won the award for Highest NBOs, which is given for creating the most new business opportunities, while Future Electronics bagged the Excellence in Key Customer Alignment Award, which is given for outstanding customer support and CRM.
