Zenergize Technologies Raises $4 Million Pre-Series A to Scale SiC Power Electronics

The fundraise comes after a year of rapid product development and commercialisation

Zenergize Technologies, an R&D-driven deep-tech company developing indigenous Silicon Carbide (SiC)-based power electronics, has raised $4 million in a Pre-Series A funding round comprising equity and venture debt.

The round was led by Giraffe Studios, which increased its existing investment in the company, with participation from a group of industrial entrepreneurs and angel investors.

The fundraise comes after a year of rapid product development and commercialisation. Zenergize has achieved an annual revenue run rate of ₹30 crore and built an order book exceeding ₹100 crore within a year of commercial operations.

The new capital will be used to expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen engineering capabilities, expand the company’s sales and service network across India, and accelerate R&D. The company also plans to build the operational capabilities required to serve large enterprise and OEM customers.

Zenergize has developed what it describes as India’s first indigenous SiC-based DC fast charger and solar inverter platforms for commercial deployment. Its chargers have received automotive certifications, while its solar inverters have received BIS certification.

The company is now expanding its technology portfolio into hybrid inverters, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) inverters and other next-generation power electronics platforms.

The investment round included participation from investors such as Nikhil Sawhney of Triveni Turbine, Varun Agarwal of Ellenbarrie Industrial Gases, Shyam Bagri of Bagrry’s Holdings, Raoul Bajaj of Trafigura, Sunil Kalra, Ajith Pai, Sandeep Barasia, Nitin Jain of Neo Group and Hemant Daga of Neo Bank, among others.

The investor group brings experience across industrial manufacturing, engineering, supply chains, financial services and the power sector. The investors are also expected to support the company in scaling manufacturing, strengthening supplier partnerships and developing relationships across India’s renewable energy and electric mobility ecosystem.

Himanshu Aggarwal, Co-founder, Giraffe Studios, said the investment reflects the firm’s focus on deep-tech companies developing core technologies and addressing large market gaps.

Navneet Daga, Co-founder and CEO, Zenergize Technologies, said the company’s experience over the past year has demonstrated that advanced power electronics can be designed, manufactured and commercialised in India.

Dr. Veer Karan Goyal, Co-founder and CTO, Zenergize Technologies, said the company is developing SiC-based power electronics suited to Indian grid conditions, climate and operating environments, while focusing on efficiency and cost competitiveness.

Zenergize aims to scale its annual revenue run rate beyond ₹100 crore in its next phase of growth and position India as a developer and manufacturer of globally competitive power electronics technology.
