Revolutionizing Urban Mobility With New Two-Wheeler EV

  • The electric scooter represents a paradigm shift in urban mobility, offering riders 93 features.
  • Within just three weeks of its launch, 12,000 bookings have been secured.

Lectrix EV, the sustainable mobility division of SAR Group, has taken a significant leap in the electric two-wheeler market by launching the LXS G2.0 series in Tamil Nadu. The much-anticipated unveiling of this electric scooter occurred at The Park in Chennai on September 25, 2023. Encouraged by this response, it is now geared up to expand its presence in the Tamil Nadu market.

These scooters have 29 safety features, 23 intelligent features, 9 comfort-enhancing elements, and much more. The primary focus is on providing consumers with modern, secure, intelligent, and connected mobility. K Vijaya Kumar, the MD & CEO of Lectrix EV, remarked, “The LXS G is designed for the young, forward-thinking Indians who seek contemporary, affordable, and connected two-wheelers to navigate the complexities of modern life. Easy, affordable, and eco-friendly personal mobility is the key to unlocking progress, especially for the dynamic Gen Z and young millennials. We aim to make the transition to electric mobility seamless and risk-free.”

These electric scooters are priced competitively, starting at just INR 1 lakh, positioning them squarely in the heart of the EV two-wheeler segment. Scooters are distinguished by their many functionalities, rigorously tested and certified platforms, and connected technology. Enhancing the riding experience are features like an integrated navigation system, smart safety functions, a voice assistant, and a robust chassis that has been rigorously tested for over 2.6 lakh kilometres. It’s not just the hardware that shines; it’s also the smart connected features. The vehicles can receive over-the-air updates, giving riding a level of joy and convenience. The product lineup includes tech-based amenities such as auto-indicators, smart ignition, helmet warnings, vehicle diagnostics, ride statistics, remote seat operation via a mobile app, anti-theft mechanisms, and helmet alerts, among many other tech-based features that are not yet available in the EV industry.

The scooters offer 93 game-changing features tailored for the youth. India’s Gen Z demands a well-connected vehicle with tech features like smart navigation, first-in-class auto-indicators, over-the-air updates, find-my-vehicle, emergency SOS buttons, and more. The sleek design and vibrant colours are the icing on the cake. It aims to make these exceptional scooters available nationwide through its dealership partners, with plans to expand its network and availability to over 100 cities across India.
