Heven Drones marks a significant advancement in the drone industry by addressing the ongoing challenge of flight endurance through hydrogen energy.
Heven Drones, Israeli drone maker, has revealed its latest innovation, the hydrogen-powered H2D200 Series drones, at the Monaco Hydrogen Forum. The new series includes the H2D200 and H2D250 models, building upon the success of its H100 drone.
The H2D200 can carry payloads up to 4.5kg (10lbs). It offers up to 510 kilometers range and 4 hours of flight time. The H2D250 can handle up to 10kg (22lbs) payloads with a range of 750 kilometers. It can sustain 8 hours of flight without compromising hover capabilities.
Hydrogen-powered drones have the potential to travel further and carry larger payloads compared to drones that use heavy electric batteries. This capability could enable new applications, particularly in advanced logistics. Heven Drones offers a range of fuel cell technologies, starting from the 3 kW H2D55 model suitable for basic drones, to the more powerful 15-16 kW H2D200 model designed for larger applications.

Heven Drones originated in Israel, a technological innovation hub, in 2019. It expanded to Miami, strategically placed between North and South Americas, with an environment well suited for drone testing, top talent and advanced manufacturing capabilities. The company now has about 40 members. Heven Drones is focusing on small series production with a local partner, aiming to produce several hundred drones monthly. This approach prioritizes quality and careful craftsmanship over large-scale manufacturing.
