To expand its strategy and growth in semiconductor and deep-tech sectors, AXISCADES has welcomed Nick Santhanam as an advisor for its ESAI domain.
Tech company AXISCADES has appointed industry veteran Nick Santhanam as its advisor for its Electronics, Semiconductors, and AI (ESAI) domain. A former Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company’s Palo Alto office, he has extensive leadership experience of nearly three decades in the global semiconductor and industrial practice.
In his new role, Nick will help steer the company’s strategy and growth.
“As we look to expand this business significantly in the years ahead, we need expert guidance, and I can think of no one better than Nick to provide it,” noted Dr Sampath Ravinarayanan, Chief Mentor at AXISCADES and Mistral Group.
He has worked with semiconductor and large industrial clients on operational improvements and turnaround strategies. Additionally, Nick chaired several McKinsey events, including the Industrial CEO event (GILS), the Industrial-tech and Semiconductors CEO event (T-30), and the Senior Tech Influencers Summit (TEDS).
He is an alumnus of the University of Illinois and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was honoured as a Ford and Palmer Scholar.
Nick also serves on the Smithsonian Libraries Advisory Board, is a Forbes Business Council member since 2022, and co-authored the bestselling The Titanium Economy, which highlights the industrial technology sector.
