Servotech Secures 2MW Solar Rooftop Project

The 2MW installation reinforces Servotech’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions and aligns with Indian Railways’ green energy transition.

Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd. has secured a landmark solar rooftop project from North Eastern Railway (NER), Lucknow Division. The order, which entails the installation of approximately 2 MW of solar power capacity, marks the company’s first venture into the railway sector and highlights its commitment to expanding sustainable energy solutions across critical infrastructure segments in India.

This achievement represents a significant milestone for Servotech as it continues to broaden its portfolio of renewable energy projects. By entering the railway sector, the company aims to contribute to Indian Railways’ ambitious sustainability initiatives, which seek to reduce carbon emissions and integrate green energy solutions across railway stations and infrastructure. Servotech’s expertise in solar technology positions it as a key partner in these efforts, ensuring efficient and high-performance solar installations for the country’s transport network.

Sarika Bhatia, Director of Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd., expressed confidence in the company’s growth trajectory, stating, “This order serves as a validation of our technical capabilities and commitment to delivering clean energy solutions across industries. The railway sector presents a vast opportunity for large-scale solar adoption, and we are excited to be a part of this transformation. We are optimistic about securing further projects within the railway domain and remain dedicated to playing a significant role in supporting Indian Railways’ transition toward renewable energy.”

Servotech has been a frontrunner in India’s renewable energy sector, collaborating with major oil marketing companies, state governments, and nodal agencies to accelerate the adoption of solar power and electric vehicle charging infrastructure nationwide. The company’s expansion into the railway sector aligns with its broader vision of promoting sustainable energy and contributing to India’s green energy transition. With this new milestone, Servotech is poised to leverage its expertise and expand its footprint further, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner in India’s journey toward a cleaner and more energy-efficient future.
