Indium Corporation Elevates Two Leaders To Lead Growth In EMEA

Promoting them, Indium Corporation sharpens its focus on EMEA with seasoned experts Andy Seager and Karthik Vijay taking charge of sales and tech.

Indium Corporation has announced the promotion of two senior leaders to strengthen its operations across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. Andy Seager has been appointed Associate Director, Continental Sales (EMEA), while Karthik Vijay steps into the role of Senior Technical Manager (EMEA).

The company mentioned that these appointments highlight its ongoing commitment to innovation, customer engagement, and talent development across international markets.

With over three decades of experience in electronics manufacturing, Seager now leads both Field Sales and Inside Sales teams across the EMEA region. His responsibilities include streamlining customer interactions and enhancing regional sales strategies.

Previously, Seager served as European Sales Manager, where he was instrumental in increasing sales of soldering solutions, including solder paste, preforms, fluxes, and thermal interface materials.

Vijay, who brings more than 20 years of technical expertise, is now responsible for leading technology initiatives and providing advanced technical support for customers in the EMEA region. Previously, he supported clients on the West Coast of North America.

His experience spans automotive, industrial, and RF sectors, particularly in power electronics and PCBA, with a strong focus on materials technology.

Brian Craig, Managing Director of European Operations at Indium Corporation, praised the appointments. “Andy’s strategic vision and experience are key to deepening our customer relationships in EMEA,” he said. “Karthik’s technical acumen will help us support the growing demand in automotive and electrification segments, especially as we advance toward decarbonisation.”

Seager holds a degree from Farnborough College of Technology and has completed various professional programmes in sales and management. Vijay has a master’s degree in industrial engineering, specialising in electronics packaging, from SUNY Binghamton. He is also Lean Six Sigma certified and a Certified SMT Process Engineer.

Indium Corporation, founded in 1934, specialises in materials for the electronics, semiconductor, and thermal management industries. With manufacturing sites and technical support hubs across Germany, India, and the UK, the company continues to focus on powering next-generation technologies.
