Databricks Appoints Corrie Briscoe As New VP

Corrie has almost 30 years of experience in making and scaling partner ecosystems across Asia Pacific.

Databricks has recently announced the appointment of Corrie Briscoe as Vice President of Partnerships and Alliances for Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ).

She is based in Singapore, and in her current role, Corrie will lead and expand Databricks’ partner ecosystem across the region, collaborating with cloud providers, global and regional systems integrators, independent software vendors (ISVs) and technology partners to help organisations scale data and AI apps, analytics and agents.

Corrie has almost 30 years of experience in making and scaling partner ecosystems across Asia Pacific. Before Databricks, she worked with AWS, where she led the APJ Partner Core organisation, overseeing partner programs, strategic investments and go-to-market initiatives that drove customer success. Apart from that, Corrie held leadership roles at Microsoft and Cisco, leading regional partner strategy and ecosystem development.

The appointment comes as organisations across APJ increase investment to unlock agentic AI. Scaling that investment requires partners who can navigate the region’s fragmented data environments, shortage of AI-ready talent, and the governance and controls needed to deploy AI with confidence across diverse industries and regulatory regimes.

Reflecting this shift, Databricks continues to invest in its partner ecosystem with the recent introduction of the Brickbuilder Partner Network (BPN), a global program rewarding partners for turning complex implementations into immediate business impact. Databricks works with more than 8,000 partners globally, including over 1,000 across APJ. Together, the ecosystem is addressing a multi-billion-dollar opportunity in enterprise AI, helping customers build, deploy and scale data and AI applications.

“Enterprise AI is no longer just about choosing the best model. It’s about giving that model the right enterprise context through a unified, governed platform, and that value is created together by Databricks and our partners,” said Kori O’Brien, Senior Vice President, Global Partnerships, Databricks. “Corrie’s leadership will be instrumental as we continue to invest in our ecosystem and help partners create the next generation of AI solutions across the region. She brings an exceptional track record of helping partners build successful technology businesses and create greater customer impact.”

“APJ is home to one of the world’s most dynamic AI markets, spanning different industries, regulatory environments and stages of AI maturity, making strong local partner expertise more important than ever,” said Corrie Briscoe, Vice President of Partnerships and Alliances at APJ. “I am excited to join Databricks at such a crucial moment and work alongside our valued partners. Together, we can help customers deploy AI with confidence, advance innovation and deliver lasting business value.”
