MIRTEC has recently inaugurated a new Sales and Demo Centre in Carrollton, Texas. The agenda behind this opening is to expand its customer support and providing North American electronics manufacturers with closer access to its inspection technologies.
The facility has been established as a dedicated space for hands-on product demonstrations, technical consultations, application reviews, and evaluation of MIRTEC’s inspection solutions. The company said the centre is intended to strengthen collaboration with customers and help manufacturers address evolving production and quality requirements more effectively.
Located in the Dallas area, the centre places MIRTEC near a major hub for electronics, semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing industries. The company expects the facility to support faster technical engagement and improve responsiveness to production challenges.
The demo center is equipped with several inspection systems, including the ART automated optical inspection platform for automotive solder joint inspection, the GENESYS-CC for conformal coating inspection using AI and clear image acquisition, the MV-3CC benchtop 3D conformal coating inspection system, the MV-3 OMNI benchtop 3D AOI for THT and SMT processes, the MS-11 3D solder paste inspection system with 0201 mm pad inspection capability, and the TAL 3D SCAN system designed for tall-component inspection and higher productivity.
MIRTEC said the Texas facility will showcase its 3D AOI and 3D SPI portfolio, enabling customers to evaluate inspection performance in a production-oriented environment and discuss solutions for improving quality, throughput, and process control.
Brian D’Amico, President of MIRTEC USA, said the new centre reflects the company’s commitment to customers and partners in North America and will enable closer collaboration with manufacturers, demonstrations of the latest technologies, and faster technical support to improve quality, efficiency, and yield.
In addition to demonstrations, the facility will be used for machine training, process evaluations, technical meetings, and customer support activities. MIRTEC said the investment is part of its broader effort to strengthen local customer relationships and continue delivering advanced inspection solutions for electronics manufacturing.
