L&T to Deploy 10,000 NVIDIA B300 GPUs for Together AI in India

The AI Factory will be built at L&T’s gigawatt-scale Chennai campus, marking the company’s entry into the AI Factory business.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a mega order from US-based artificial intelligence (AI) cloud company Together AI to build what the companies describe as India’s largest single-cluster AI infrastructure facility based on NVIDIA B300 GPUs.

The project marks L&T’s entry into the AI factory business. Through its AI infrastructure subsidiary LTN Compute, part of Vyoma.AI, L&T will deploy the facility at its Chennai data centre campus.

The AI Factory will have a capacity of 10,000 NVIDIA B300 GPUs and will support large-scale AI training, inference and fine-tuning workloads. The infrastructure will power Together AI’s AI-native cloud platform, enabling organisations to develop and deploy generative AI applications at scale.

Vyoma.AI’s Chennai campus is being developed as a gigawatt-scale AI infrastructure site. Its first phase is designed for 250MW, with power infrastructure readiness of 150MVA, providing scope for future expansion.

The integrated AI Factory will bring together hyperscale data centre infrastructure, accelerated computing, high-performance networking, ultra-low-latency interconnects, high-throughput storage and AI infrastructure operations. This is designed to provide customers with an integrated platform for deploying and scaling AI workloads.

The project forms part of L&T’s broader Gigawatt AI Infrastructure Mission. Through LTN Compute, the company is developing AI-ready infrastructure across hyperscale AI data centres, sovereign cloud platforms, AI Factory services, GPU-as-a-Service and managed AI platforms.

These offerings are targeted at governments, enterprises, cloud providers and AI developers requiring high-performance computing capacity.

Together AI provides an AI cloud platform combining accelerated computing infrastructure, open foundation models and developer services for building, training and deploying generative AI applications.

The project also expands Vyoma.AI’s presence in AI infrastructure, with its offerings spanning sovereign cloud, GPU-as-a-Service, hyperscale colocation and other high-density computing infrastructure for sectors including government, BFSI, healthcare and manufacturing.
