The Paradigm fund builds on Micron Ventures’ Fund I, launched in 2019, and Fund II launched in 2022, totalling the commitment to $550 million.

The US-based leading memory chipmaker, Micron technology’s venture capital (VC) arm- Micron Ventures announced a $250 million fund, named Paradigm, to invest in a full stack of artificial intelligence (AI), including models, compute, enterprise applications and physical (embodied) AI.
“We’re in an exciting era of paradigm shifts, each one redefining what AI can do and what it requires,” said Rene Hartner, vice president of corporate development at Micron.
“These advancements converge on one common need: high-performance memory and storage solutions. Micron’s Paradigm Fund will invest in and partner with startups driving these innovations and strengthen our ability to deliver leading memory and storage solutions to meet the growing AI demands.” he added.
The Paradigm fund builds on Micron Ventures’ Fund I (launched in 2019) and Fund II (launched in 2022, and is still actively deploying capital). With the addition of the Paradigm fund, Micron’s ventures total commitment reaches to $550 million.
Micron claims that through this fund it will invest in startups and companies that will define demand for tomorrow’s AI infrastructure.
Micron believes that the AI era is still in early stages, and technology advancements will reshape how industries operate and how intelligence is delivered.
