Strategic tie-up combines Intel silicon with advanced liquid cooling to support high-density computing across the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey.
Full-stack AI and high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure specialist Submer has entered into a strategic collaboration agreement with Intel to deploy next-generation data centre solutions across the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey.
Under the partnership, Intel will supply compute platforms and technology roadmaps, while Submer provides end-to-end engineering, spanning advisory, thermal management, power distribution, and hardware integration. The initiative targets rising regional demand for AI processing, which is pushing legacy data centre designs to their limits in terms of power utilisation and thermal performance.
A key objective of the alliance is the joint development and validation of reference architectures for high-density environments, pairing Intel processors with Submer’s immersion and liquid-cooling infrastructure. The solution aims to streamline the transition from experimental AI pilots to production-scale facilities for sovereign, enterprise, hyperscale, telecom, and public-sector clients.
Khalid Aljamed, General Manager for MEA and Turkey at Submer, noted that regional clients require a cohesive technical pathway from design intent to operational infrastructure. Ahmad Alabduljabbar, General Manager for Saudi Arabia at Intel, added that integrating Submer’s cooling technology with Intel hardware provides the thermal efficiency needed for high-density AI deployments, directly supporting digital transformation goals such as Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. Initial focus will centre on proof-of-concept engagements, site retrofits, and technical customer workshops across target markets.
