APT Electronics Outsources Two Automotive Vision Operations to Geely

APT Electronics plans to extend its automotive vision supply agreements with Geely through 2029 and outsource operations at two subsidiaries to improve efficiency, product quality and competitiveness.

APT Electronics Co., Ltd. plans to renew and expand its supply agreements with Geely Holding and its affiliates, continuing supplies of intelligent automotive vision products, prototypes, spare parts and development services through 31 December 2029, subject to independent shareholders’ approval.

The China-based automotive electronics supplier also plans to appoint Geely Automotive Parts to manage day-to-day operations at Guangzhou Lynway and Ningbo Lynway under an engagement services agreement. The move aims to improve operational efficiency, product quality and market competitiveness.

APT Electronics is also renewing a procurement framework for warehousing and related services, further strengthening its operational ties with the Geely group.

The arrangements could provide greater visibility into future business for APT Electronics, which supplies intelligent automotive vision products and related development services. However, the announcement does not specify order values, guaranteed volumes or revenue commitments.

The agreements also involve related-party transactions, making independent shareholder oversight important as APT Electronics deepens its relationship with the Geely ecosystem. The proposed supply arrangements remain subject to the required shareholder approval.
