Nemi is going public. The plan? A $400 million Nasdaq listing.
The company just signed a definitive business combination agreement with BHAV Acquisition Corp. This deal values Nemi at $400 million pre-money. Shares will trade under the ticker NEMI. Expect a closing date in Q1 2027, pending shareholder and regulatory approval.
Nemi operates over 300,000 square feet of manufacturing space in India. They make electronics, batteries, motors, precision metal parts, plastics, and complex assemblies. Their Manufacturing-as-a-Service (MaaS) arm supplies capacity to enterprise clients. It’s growing fast. FY2025 revenue jumped 38%. Gross margins hit 32.5%. Now, they’re layering AI on top.
Nemi is building a Large Manufacturing Model (LMM). It’s designed to inject artificial intelligence into hardware design, engineering, and production. The platform has three distinct components. Anvil handles product design and engineering. Orion manages factory operations and robotics. Atlas covers commercial and after-sales activities. The system learns from data generated within Nemi’s own facilities.
Across more than 35 customer and internal programs, design work finished roughly three times faster. It used about one-third of the engineers required by earlier baselines. Applications range from electric-vehicle platforms and defence drone powertrains to consumer appliance lines and aerospace components.
To fuel this expansion, Nemi is raising $50 million via a private investment in public equity (PIPE).
Proceeds will expand factory capacity, acquire other manufacturers, develop the LMM, and advance robotics. Currently, Nemi serves more than 50 enterprise customers across aerospace, defence, space, and automotive sectors. The strategy is clear: increase capacity and automate acquired facilities.
