April 13, 2015: Taking the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Digital India’ campaign to the world, India is participating at the Hannover Messe 2015, Germany as a partner country. The event was inaugurated by Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India and Angela Merkel, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Assuring a cordial and stable business environment Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday wooed German investors saying opportunities in India are “seamless” and huge for a vibrant economic partnership, reported IBNLive.
Inaugurating the Hannover Messe 2015, with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the Modi said India is working to build a “predictable and transparent” environment to encourage flow of more investments.
“We are creating an environment that is stable, where rules will not be changed frequently and there will be no surprise elements,” he said.
Citing Germany as a ‘valuable partner’ Modi said that the two countries share a healthy relationship.
Modi also met top German businessmen and told them about the steps being taken in the country to boost investments and maintain a healthy manufacturing ecosystem.
