April 17, 2015: Xicato, a leading manufacturer of intelligent LED light sources, has announced the appointment of Ravi Rajan as the company’s worldwide product marketing manager. Ravi is responsible for Xicato’s award winning portfolio of modules and precision optics including XIM, XTM, XPO, XSM, and XLM. Prior to joining Xicato, Ravi was a product manager at Osram Sylvania for general-purpose LED lamps where he drove projects from concept through introduction. He has also held positions in product development and manufacturing engineering at Axsun Technologies and Luminus Devices.
“Light is that rare thing that we can’t touch but we feel in every way,” said Ravi Rajan. “That I can be a part of the community that is making light and making light better is tremendously satisfying.”
Ravi, an avid student and reader, received his MBA from Fuqua and MSEE from the University of Florida. Today he enjoys time with his sons, playing soccer and travelling the world in search of adventure.
